Our names are Rhys & Jack.

We were pretty much born in the surf and have been shredding since day dot. Now in our mid 20's we've both realised our eyes are cooked from surfing and both developed what's known as Pterygium in the corner of our eyes which has gradually been growing and eventually will "protrude the cornea and will blur or blind your vision" - that's what the doc said. He also said it was due to over exposure to the sun from surfing and is also referred to as 'Surfer's Eye.'

Safe to say we were not stoked! So we did some more research and found out that it's pretty common and along with sunburned eyes nothing was really being done to protect Aussie surfer's and their eyes from being literally toasted.
